What type of building permit will I need for the Contemporary Renovations?
A Short Form Permit is adequate for minor repairs, and may be obtained on a days notice. A Long Form Permit is needed for the erection of new structures, additions to buildings, structural repairs, or any alterations requiring a change to the use occupancy or egress. These permits typically take 6-8 weeks to obtain, and will require stamped Architectural or Structural Engineering drawings.
